It seems strange to be writing a blog post to end the year as I haven’t blogged a whole lot in 2013, but it just felt appropriate and like the right thing to do.
2013 has been an interesting year and while one of the most amazing things in my entire life happened to me this year, this year hasn’t been a great one. Read More
Hello to all my lovely readers out there. I wanted to start this post by saying thank you. I only started this blog five months ago, but thanks to all your reading, I’ve had over 7,000 views which, considering I don’t post every day and it’s just me posting, is pretty incredible, so thank you!
Just a warning: this is a shameless self promoting post so if you don’t care, stop reading. You’ve been warned! Read More
I was nominated by the ever lovely Whippersnapper from Bake.Read.Blog for a Versatile Blogger Award. It’s always really lovely to be nominated for anything (I love the warm fuzzy feeling it gives you) and this was especially great because I pride myself on being Versatile, hence my tagline “a little bit of everything”.
- Thank the person that nominated you with a link back.
- Tell 7 things about you.
- Pass this on to 10 newly discovered blogs and let them know they received the award. Read More
I have a confession to make. I’m an addict. A book buying addict. It’s something I’ve been aware of for quite some time but lately it has come to my attention that the reason I don’t have a whole lot of money in my savings is because I spent it all on buying books (as well as DVDs of movies and television shows).
There are books stacked behind the books. It's a little chaotic.
I have little space to store my books (despite having an overflowing library made up of Dad’s books) and have had to stack books in my bookcase, hiding others from view, just to fit them all. Because I was organising my books purely just to fit into the space, there was no order to how they were organised. Read More
While this is traditionally done on Twitter and not through a blog post, this particular Twitter account deserves more than 140 characters to express how amazing it really is. Not to be confused with The Notebook (which also has a Twitter account), The Notebook Of Love is one of my favourite follows. Read More

Don’t you just love it when actors who are a couple on-screen announce that they are also a couple off-screen? Well I do. I think this is because it makes their relationship on the television show or in the movie they star in appear more real. And just like it makes me happy when they are together in real life, I must admit, I do become a little bit upset when they announce their spit…invariably because they have fallen in love with another co-star.
But why does this happen, I hear you ask? Read More

I want to start this off by saying that I wouldn’t consider myself to be skinny, but I wouldn’t consider myself to be fat. I’m 173cm tall (5″7), I weigh just over 70kgs and I wear between a size 12 and a size 14. While I have my moments, I’m overall happy with my appearance. Read More
